Dear Happy M5Hosting Customer,

We are upgrading our network to add capacity, and redundancy for
higher availability and stability. This work will take about an hour
total, but there will be a short time when replacing a few systems
that will require a brief network interruption.

Description of work:
We will be replacing a single bridging firewall with a stateful
failover pair of routing firewalls which will have a higher capacity.
To perform this work, we will need to make some local routing changes
and perform some testing of the failover function.
The route changes and work to wire in the new hardware will take
about 10 minutes. There will be no network connectivity during this
time.
Testing of failover and other functionality may take 30 to 60
minutes. If the tests are successful there will be no interruptions
during this time. However, there is some risk of brief interruptions
during the testing period.
The new firewalls have slightly different rule syntax which we have
attempted to compensate for. If we have rules in our firewall for your
servers, then there is some small risk that they may not have been
correctly translated. Please be sure to test after the maintenance
window is over, and contact us if you believe the rules are different.

Time of work:

US Pacific Time:
	Saturday August 25, 2007, 21:00 to 23:00 PDT

GMT/Zulu/UTC
	Sunday August 26, 2007, 04:00 - 06:00 GMT

If you have any comments or questions about this announcement or the
work being done, please feel free to contact us at any time at support
at m5hosting.com.

Thank you !
Mike
