San Diego Tech Data Center

I have used M5 for both corporate and personal servers for a little over 8 years now. Compared to the variety of other hosting options I have used in the past (other dedicated hosts, VPS solutions, single domain shared hosts), M5 beats them hands down, every time.

M5 Hosting Data Centers – San Diego Tech Center

M5 Hosting has a presence in two of San Diego’s premiere colocation facilities. Both provide for all planned maintenance to be performed with zero impact on operations. Both are SAS-70 Type II certified and audited annually. We maintain a private, leased, dark fiber transport connection between the two data centers, and each data center has it’s own redundant Internet connectivity in addition to the private, high-speed, transport between facilities. The facilities are 13 miles (21km) apart. Please see below for more detail on our facility at the San Diego Tech Center.

San Diego Tech Center (SDTC)
M5 Cloud Zone CA1

This 19,000 square foot facility is located in the San Diego Tech Center — “Where Technology Serves Mankind”. Surrounded by a who’s who of tech, telecom and wireless companies. Several other Corporate and Internet Data Centers are also located in this bandwidth-rich technology park, owned and operated by American Internet Services. Originally built as an Internet Data Center in the late 1990’s, it was unique for having been designed for very high power density in mind and with complete -48v DC power service available for traditional Telco/Telecom customers.
